A strange sort happiness overcomes me when I let go of the [i] for a few minutes and remember [the others] in my prayers - including strangers on the street or Tumblr bloggers.
"Get closer to your heart and talk to it. Consider your deeds as your father whom you follow. Consider your self as your enemy with whom you are at war. Consider your wealth as a loan you have to return."
Imam Jaffar Sadiq (a.s.)

Words from my teacher: Allah Shukr, such a blessing to be remembered
Ohh! You know I’m sitting here crying tears of joy for you. I love your family and always enjoy the pictures ion fb. I had no idea you were out of the country, for some reason I thought you were in La Verne!! Lol then I saw something posted about UCLA. I was way too confused. But I am so happy to hear you are experiencing a cultural awareness that you can only have hands on! I know your family misses you as much as you miss them, but remember this a short time in your life.
Please contact me when you return of love to share one of those beautiful meals with you. Praying for you.
Take care love!
You 5th grade teacher always!
